I subscribed to the various news feeds as soon as the flooding started. On about 9/24/07, this is one of the very first things that came through the "wire" from a website called "Unconfirmed Sources"....
 I had to laugh... They got me for a moment! (OK about 1.5 seconds) But then I read "Ottawa resident Fawn Lipinski..." I know I have one of the non-native names around here, but I have not met a Putnam County Lipinski yet. Vladimir Putin coming to Ottawa and then fly fishing in the Blanchard is more likely.
Plus, I happened to see both of the pictures on the Associated Press of these flooded people who are actually from Findlay and Vladimir Putin fly fishing somewhere in Siberia with Monacos's Prince Albert II. Now that I come to think about it, I have not seen Prince Albert around these parts lately either!. Amazing what a little PhotoShop can do.
